"My first and only call was to Tom Gaye when we decided to sell. That afternoon, he visited, assessed our home, he made us feel very confident and comfortable about our decision to sell.
We were in the beginning stages of obtaining painting, flooring, and roofing contractors in an effort to get our home prepared for sale. In addition we were moving to another state.

"I cannot say enough positive things about working with Tom Gaye to sell my home. He came referred to me by a friend. I needed a go-getter realtor who would manage the sale of my home from start to finish, tell me exactly what I needed to do to sell my home, and then manage all the work that needed to be done to prepare the home for sale. Tom was the only realtor I interviewed that (within 3 days!), toured my home, handed me a detailed a plan of action, and proactively scheduled a contractor to complete the recommended list of home improvements within two weeks (assuming I was ready to start). Wow! I signed up on the spot. I was in bit of unchartered territory as I was selling during the height of Covid-19 quarantine, but Tom was confident that the home was beautiful, well priced, well marketed, and would yield traffic from only truly interested buyers. 6th Transaction Buyers & Sellers, Pandemic Success 2020!
"My husband and I just completed our 5th and 6th real estate transactions with Tom! To use a baseball analogy, Tom has hit a single (one sale), a double (one sale, one buy) and a triple (two sales, one buy) for us - but in our view they were all home runs! 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and our home buying experience proved to be no exception. We decided it was time to move in late 2019 and started looking for exactly the right new place to call home. After an extensive search we signed a contract for new construction on February 1st - hopeful for a move-in date in early July. Of course, due to COVID things were delayed and construction didn't even start until July. For a lot of reasons, by September we elected to walk away from the builder and with the help of Tom and a structural engineer we were able to get all of our deposit money back. Now - what to do! Tom assured us that he would support us in whatever we decided - we could keep looking or we could sit tight and start up again after the first of the year. I continued to look at houses online and on September 11th I found a house that looked just perfect for us. Tom got a showing scheduled for that evening and within 24 hours we had negotiated a successful purchase contract with the seller. Within 7 weeks, we were able to close on our new house and move in, AND sell and close on our old house! It was a whirlwind but Tom was the perfect navigator through it all!
Tom has sold 4 homes for us - and his recommendations, advice and pricing have been "spot on" every time! We were a little skeptical about Tom's strategy this time - but had worked with Tom enough to trust him completely! Tom's strategy resulted in 19 showings in 3 days and our receipt of 5 offers (ending up at 12K over asking)! We'll never doubt Tom's strategy again!

"After the death of my mother in law and the need to sell her house I interviewed three realtors. I have bought and sold several homes during my career moving from city to city. "In May, I interviewed 2 Real Estate Agents to obtain appraisals for my home in Mechanicsville, Virginia and to determine who would best represent my home.
